FAQs

1. What is the average cost to get out of a Timeshare?

The average cost to get out of a timeshare falls between a few hundred dollars and several thousand dollars, determined by the exit method used.

Selling or donating a timeshare requires advertising and transfer fees while maintenance fees continue, developer exit programs charge upfront release fees that reach several thousand dollars, attorney-assisted timeshare termination involves legal fees at the same level, and third-party timeshare exit companies charge documented upfront fees ranging from $2,500 to over $10,000.

Timeshare freedom group is a scamtimeshare freedom group is a scam

December 10, 2021

We hired them about 3 years ago.

We got the monthly call stating they’re still working on it. Everything’s going as planned.

Then we got a letter saying they were handing it off to Michael A. Molfetta.

Now the company is missing an action and Michael wants you to pay him $500 more… Because apparently he never got any of the money from timeshare freedom.

One big scam. They’re being sued by diamond resorts as they should be.

There needs to be a class action lawsuit.

Appears they are closing the business

December 10, 2021

I signed a contract with Timesharefreedomgroup in May of 2021. Once they had the signed contract it became very difficult to get any progress information. Then the phone and email for my local contact stopped working and my contact in CA sent me a message that my case was progressing and gave me another email address and phone number. Then her email and phone stopped working and the email she had sent me did not work and the new phone number went on hold with an answering machine. The lawyers they said were handling my case also do not answer the phone. It appears that they are closing up the business.

They got my money ':-( #%&*

November 3, 2021

August 2020, I entered in an agreement with TFG. Statute of limitations in my state is 2 years for civil suit for fraud, guess what they have an additional 3 years to complete their agreement/ That means they are scott free from having to be sued. I paid a damn $6000 approximately, to release me from my obligations of just membership dues and maintenance. I already paid it off. They promised me that it would take a short 6 months for the resort to release me. I have recently within the last year become 100% disabled veteran. I can’t use the Timeshare now, because I need 24 hour care!

NOW THE DANG TFG KEPT MY MONEY, A MONTH AGO I WROTE 4 TIMES REACHING OUT TO MY CASE MANAGER, MELONY P., AND NO RESPONSE BY E-MAIL, SO I CALLED THE NUMBER SHE CLAIMED WAS HER DIRECT LINE TO HER DESK AND THE VOCIE PROMPT SAID THIS NUMBER IS NO LONGER IN SERVICE. I called the company number found on the internet white pages and it prompts unable to leave a message, mailbox is full. I tried it again a week later and found it says the same thing.

Most of this is my fault I guess, because when I was stronger, I should have read between the lines !

I hope this helps someone, but I am out my money for the timeshare,$14500, and TFG money $6000. Also watch out for those organizations that say they can sell your Timeshare. I fell into it also, found out they can not guarantee the sale of timeshare nor can they guarantee to rent it for you. That is why they want you to post with them, that will cost, but if someone has interest in renting it, why is it they will not do the foot work to have documents signed????? Beware!

Unless it is an actual attorney, don’t do it!

Time Share Freedom Group Scam

November 3, 2021

They have been saying they are working on getting rid of my Time Share for a year and have not gotten rid of it. Their money back guarantee is a joke. They will not return money even if they are unsuccessful. Also they tell customers to stop paying on the time share. I believe this company is a total scam.
